Bed Bunker is perfect for zombie invasions

If you’re worried about conspiracy theories on a regular basis, you’ve probably started to think of ways to defend your home.  Well for the extremist, this is one way to make sure your guns and ammunition stay nice and safe.  It’s enough space to make yourself your own miniature army.  You can protect yourself from zombies and aliens alike with this kind of fire power.  Of course you’ll have to be a little more careful with those aliens, they likely have some nasty fire power on them.

You could also store things besides guns within the safe.  It’s protected from fire, so it would also be a great spot to store important documents you want to make it through a fire.  The safe also functions as a  bed, it will work as a twin, queen or king size.  You can get a custom size as well if none of those work for you.  Being a safe it does lock to protect your ammunition and valuables from thieves as well as your kids.  Likely few people would even guess that the clunky bed frame under your mattress is actually a safe.  You can pick it up for anywhere from $2700 on up to $5200.

The Glass Light Bulb shaped like a wine glass

The light bulbs with the extended life span are always ideal, of course they’re typically more expensive.  Not to mention some of the bulbs look very odd with plain pendant lighting, purely due to their shape.  Well now you can own a light bulb that not only will last you a long time, but has an odd decorative shape that will look interesting while hanging from a plain pendant light.

These were designed by Guido Ooms.  On the inside of these lights are 20 warm white high-intensity LEDs.  Those LEDs will last for about 30,000 hours, which translates into 10 years of lifespan.  The bulb is actually the same size as your average wine glass, it measures 7.5” tall.  Of course despite that this bulb will last you a long time, it’s extremely expensive for just a novelty light bulb.  You can pick it up for $120 from Charles & Marie.  It would be the perfect gift for any wine enthusiast you might know.

Watch grass grow with the Timelapse Garden Video Camera

I love Hammacher and Schlemmer, if for no other reason than they always have the most pointless gadgets I was never aware I needed.  Honestly, how many people actually wake up in the middle of the night realizing that they need to have a camera on their plants so that they can keep track of their progress?  In reality, you’re setting up a camera so that you can watch the grass grow.  What’s next?  A camera specified to watch paint dry?  At least with this camera, you can claim to be setting it out to watch the miracle of life.  I’m sure that will make it seem far more practical.

You can set the camera up to show just one plant or give it a broader view so that you can watch the entire flower bed.  The camera can be set up to take a picture at one of six pre-set intervals, they can range from 5 seconds to 24 hours.  The camera is automatically shut off at dusk, so you’ll have only usable footage.  The camera has 2GB of removable storage that can hold up to 1800 pictures.  It is of course weather resistant and runs on 4 AA batteries.  You can pick this camera up for the ridiculous price of $159.95.
