Golf Green Doormat

This must be one of the cooler pieces of doormats an avid golfer would ever come across, although the £16.99 price point might be a bit more expensive compared to the standard vanilla version that fails to elicit a smile from anyone who drops by your place for a visit. This piece of home decor will make your golfing buddies envious of you, while ordinary folk will definitely ask you where you got it from. All you need to do is point them towards here and their enquiries will be satisfied, as the Golf Green Doormat was made to mimic a putting green.

Bomb Bank Alarm Clock

How many of you are still using that boring, old alarm clock? With the Bomb Bank Alarm Clock, things need not be the same again as you learn to get up and save money with that extra bit of zest. Not only does it function as an alarm clock, it also doubles up as a coin saver as well. There are 3 game modes to choose from - where the possibility of an explosion happening is set to one fourth, one eighth and one fifteenth probability when the alarm goes off. Should that happen, it will be one very messy morning - as all your coins stored inside will be scattered all over the place. $27 is the asking price for this alarm clock that could result in you getting more housework done before the day has even started properly.

The Dark Ops Wii Light Gun

I’ve never been too thrilled with the guns that have been released for the Wii.  Some are so cheaply made that they break in no time at all.  Others are large and bulky and although they do the job, it’d be nice if there was something durable and smaller.  Well here’s a Wii accessory that although there’s no way to know how durable it is, it actually looks great.  Whoever designed it actually put creative thought into the gun, which is far more effort than I’ve seen put into a great deal of the Wii accessories.

This Dark Ops Wii Light Gun is lightweight and looks great.  It gives you full access to all of the buttons on the remote, while still giving you “realistic trigger action.”  It also allows for free motion of the nunchuck, giving you a great deal of versatility.  It features a double grip that makes it comfortable for one or two handed action.  It’ll allow for you to aim with the gun instead of the remote, by utiliziing Fresnel light-bending technology.  You can pick it up online for $19.95.

Budfits are a cheap fix for Shuffle earbuds

Budfits are nothing new, they’ve been out for a little while really.  For those that are debating on whether or not to buy the new Shuffle though, they might want to keep these in mind.   There have been a few solutions pop up to deal with the issue.  One of which being an adapter kit, but there hasn’t been a price announced for the device.  There are also a few slightly expensive earbuds that have the controls on them that will work with the new shuffle.  Well for those of you that prefer the over the ear style buds, here’s a cheap way to fix those earbuds.

Likely this is the absolute cheapest you’ll see  fixes for the earbuds.  My problem with Apple’s earbuds is that they tend to slip out of my ears.  An issue I’m guessing is fairly common, since someone decided to create this cheap little adapter.  They just snap to Apple’s earbuds and convert them so that they will stay in place.  You can pick up the Budfits for $8.99 on Amazon.  Although they weren’t created specifically for the Shuffle issue, it is a great fix for it either way.

The Kid Finder Remote Tracking

Kids have a couple features that make them challenging, one of them being that they can move about freely.  They have no off button and stating “stay” rarely actually gets them to stay.  Which means you have to adapt to those little monsters.  Well now Princeton has created a device to help you track your kids, pets and in the event that you fail and your kid gets kidnapped, even the bag full of ransom money.  As long as this little beeper is on the device, you won’t be losing anything.

It can let you know both distance and direction.  Although the way it’s set up, I’m curious how it displays the distance when your child is behind you instead of in front.  It will only track them up to 90m or 295ft, so you’ll have to make sure they don’t go out of that range.  It runs on 4 AAA batteries and has a Velcro strap as well as a lanyard.  The manual is in Japanese though, so you’ll have to guess how it works.  You can purchase it online for $108 through the Japan Trend Shop.
