Zombie Shooting Gallery

zombie-shooting-galleryHave you watched enough horror movies, especially those involving zombies, to be prepared for a zombie apocalypse? Well, just in case the undead start walking about one of these days (with you sleeping soundly throughout the events that led to such a catastrophe), you’ll surely be pleased to know then that all the practice and tactical training that you and your buds went through with the Zombie Shooting Gallery would have paid off.

Take aim with the included laser assault rifle and blast the zombies as they pop up from the windows of the dark mansion. Too slow and they dine on the human hostages inside. Remember, practice hard…not much time before the real hell spawn arrive to feast on flesh of the living.

Powered by 9 AA batteries, the $34.99 Zombie Shooting Gallery will come with an electronic and mechanical shooting gallery which lets you practice your undead killing skills by using the included assault rifle which shoots a laser that can be detected by the zombie targets. Should you miss, the zombie will devour a human hostage represented by a red silhouette in an upper window. As time progresses, zombies get faster and faster, so hold your nerve and make sure your high score on the LED display stays!

FLO TV turns TV into handheld wonder

    flottv

Guess the TV is going to hang around for a little while longer, albeit this time it will take a much more personal route, coming in the form of the FLO TV Personal TV which will allow TV fans to view their favorite news, live telecasts of sports, children’s programming as well as wholesome entertainment on a singular, dedicated device meant specifically for mobile TV viewing. No idea on whether such a device will beat out the iPod touch and other portable media players, since you can watch what you want to on those devices as long as you have the right file loaded on them, while subjecting yourself to the rigorous setups of TV channel programming leaves your daily schedule at the mercy of the programmers. No idea on pricing, but it ought to be out later in time for the mad holiday season rush.

“Sundries PLAYBRICK” aka Lego Headphones

elecom_lego-620x465Today must be Elecom day, because this is the second product from the Japanese company that I am reporting on this fine Friday. Unlike the TK-TCT005BK, this particular product has a name, and it is very important that you learn it.

It is called the “Sundries PLAYBRICK”, not “Lego headphones”. I would imagine its called that to avoid any lawsuits. I’m sure that users everywhere will call them that anyway, but I’m going to try to avoid that if I can.

This isn’t the first time Elecom has had a Lego, I mean, a building block style product, as they recently unveiled the Soundblock, an iPod dock connector speaker.

The Sundries PLAYBRICK comes in six colors including blue, red, white, black, pink, and mixed colors. Now, what I want to know is: can you attach actual Lego, ahem, building bricks to these phones?

If that is the case, maybe I can make an arch of building blocks to cradle my head. Maybe I can attach wingtips to make me look like The Flash. The possibilities are pretty limitless here.

You should be able to get the Sundries PLAYBRICK for about $23, but only in Japan. It should be noted that my source doesn’t tell me how these headphones sound. I guess it doesn’t matter, because customers will use it for the Lego, I mean, PLAYBRICK!
