Voice Interactive Coffee Machine - Talk Your Way to Good Coffee

Voice Interactive Coffee Machine – Talk Your Way to Good Coffee

We like a good coffee talk, but this coffee maker takes it to a new level. This is the first voice-interactive coffee maker that asks, “Would you like to set the clock or set the coffee brewing time?” and operates in response to your verbal commands. Simply saying, “Set the coffee brewing time,” or
“Set the clock,” will prompt the machine to reply, “Please say the time, including AM or PM.” It uses an advanced voice recognition system to identify any time of day you speak, eliminating the hassle of fussing with buttons.

    Hamburger USB Warmer Mouse Pad

    Hamburger USB Warmer Mouse Pad

This USB hand warmer mouse pad would be one of them. It’s not that I doubt how useful it would be to have a device to warm your hand while you browse the internet. I’m more curious as to why it had to be a hamburger that does the trick.

Brondell Perfect Flush conserves water

    BrondellPerfectFlush

It’s not uncommon in some areas for people to be choosy about when they flush.  Well for those of us that are in areas where water hasn’t gotten quite so scarce, such a habit almost seems archaic and just plain gross.  It’s not that we don’t believe it’s necessary, but sometimes old habits are hard to kick.  Well instead of completely converting to flushing less often, you could give this gadget a try.  As far as water conservation goes, it’s kind of a happy medium.  It has two different choices as far as the type of flush you’d like to use.

You can either do a partial flush or a full flush.  Although it may not sound like much, it allows for you to reduce your toilet’s overall water use by anywhere from 30 to 50 percent.  That translates into about an average of $100 per year in water use.  Which means after one year you’ll have paid for the device itself.  The gadget alone costs $99, which isn’t too bad.  It’ll work with your existing toilet too, which means less work for you.

Sharper Image’s Rotating Speaker System for iPod and iPhone

Rotating Speaker SystemWhile I was at CES last January, I had a chance to view The Sharper Image’s new product line for their comeback for the fall, and the Rotating Speaker System was one of them.

Contrary to what its name implies, the Rotating Speaker System is not designed as an apparatus that spins your speakers, but is a speaker system for the iPod or iPhone.

So what does rotating have to do with it? Well, let’s say you have an iPhone, and you want to watch a movie on it. At the touch of a button, the Rotating Speaker System will turn the iPhone ninety degrees on its side so you can watch it in the proper format.

I had a chance to try it out for myself, and it does produce the “full, rich sound” that the box advertises. The illuminated controls are good for advancing or going back on playlist tracks, volume control, and play/pause. When the Rotating Speaker System is turned off, it starts charging the iPod/iPhone. This dock came with inserts for the iPhone 3GS, the iPhone 3G, the iPod touch (2nd generation), and iPod nano.

All in all, the Rotating Speaker System is a good system if you need an iPod or iPhone dock. The Sharper Image Rotating Speaker System should be available on October 15, wherever Sharper Image products are sold for a price of $79.99.
