LLUON Kidscom computer for the little ones

lluon-kidscomMonkey see, monkey do - or so the adage goes. Well, if you’re one who has a junior version of yourself imitating your every move, chances are the little tyke would have asked for a notebook or computer of his own by now. Well, why not give in to his fancies this time round with the LLUON Kidscom computer from Korea? It seems to be equipped with what is the most colorful touch screen we’ve laid our eyes upon to date - hopefully this doesn’t mean that they’ll be wearing glasses sooner than their counterparts. Heck, we don’t think kids will be the only ones who are attracted to this as us adults with a curious streak within would also want to give the display a whole lot of loving touches. Otherwise, how else do you explain the gangbusters sales that the iPhone has achieved to date?

Worldwide Atomic Solar Watch

solar-atom-watchHammacher carries some delectable devices from time to time, and this time round they’re offering what they dubbed the first Worldwide Atomic Solar Watch. We don’t suppose they’re wrong on that, so let’s see what this timepiece offers.

This is the first solar watch that can receive signals from six atomic clock radio broadcasts worldwide, providing unerring timekeeping while eliminating the need to set the time or replace a battery. It updates itself up to six times per day from time signals broadcast by radio clocks located in the U.S., UK, Germany, Japan (two clocks), and China. The watch will attempt to receive a signal from the nearest radio clock trasmitter (based upon the home city you select). Photovoltaic cells in the watchface capture sunlight and convert it into power for the built-in battery, lasting up to seven months without further exposure to light once fully charged. It automatically adjusts for Daylight Saving Time and provides the time in 48 cities worldwide. It has a 1/100th second stopwatch, countdown timer, and four alarms. It has a durable resin exterior that resists shocks and a double sealed case back and sealed buttons; water-resistant down to 600′.

It would be a shame if you had a more accurate way of telling time and yet still can’t make it on time for your appointments! If only this $159.95 watch came with some sort of anti-late mechanism.

    Samsung LED TV

    Samsung LED TV

“That’s not a gadget” we hear you sigh, but when a TV is as clever as this, it most definitely is. For starters it looks sexier than a strip club to a monk and is thinner than a supermodels lunchbox (1.2″). It also posseses a multitude of connection possibilities. These stack up to an impressive 4 x HDMI ports, 2 x USB ports, a DTV Tuner, wireless LAN and internet TV. Yup, we did say wireless Lan and internet TV.

    Dog-o-matic Dog Washing Machine

    Dog-o-matic Dog Washing Machine

Some dogs absolutely hate getting washed and it can be a major chore to get them cleaned, so while the idea of throwing them into a dog washing machine might sound cruel, it seems like a pretty good idea. You just stick them in the machine, press “start,” and smugly watch with the knowledge that opposable thumbs make you the boss. According to the manufacturer, the animals don’t suffer.

I think the Lazy Boy Cool Chair is the gadget of all gadgets. I can’t think of anything much better than sitting back relaxing while watching your favourite Movie or TV show in this chair. Actually maybe I can, why not throw in some added gadgets such as a fridge to keep your drinks cool and a massager for after those long hard days at work. The Lazy Boy has been around for a long time now but I think you will agree it will always be a cool gadget.

    Bike Moto Horn

Did you ever wish that your piddly little bicycle was a fearsomely noisy motorbike? Course you did. Creative’s New Zen MP3 Players

creative-zensIt has been a while since we heard from Creative and their Zen series of MP3 Players. The Zen Krystal came out a year ago with the Zen Mozaic, and they have recently unveiled two more in the Zen line.

The Zen Mozaic EZ300 comes in 4 to 8 gigabyte models that feature a 1.8 inch TFT color display, an FM radio, a built-in speaker, a voice recorder, as well as an alarm clock. It has a mosaic keypad that is a “one-of-a-kind” design, and uses a plug and play system for dragging and dropping your songs.

The Zen MX is a credit-card shaped player with 8 to 16 gigabtye models that feature a 2.5 inch screen with 320 x 240 resolution. It also includes an SD/SDHC slot, an FM radio,a voice recorder, as well as an alarm clock.

The Zen Mozaic EZ300 is available for pre-order now. The 4GB is available for $59.99, and the 8GB version for $79.99. The Zen MX is also available for pre-order, with the 8GB for $99.99 and the 16GB for $129.99.

Perhaps this would be better time for Creative to make a move to kill Apple’s semi-Monopoly on MP3 players. I’ve said this before: Creative’s Zen Stones are cheaper and better than iPod Shuffles. There, I said it. Deal with it, Apple.
