Imagine absentmindedly grabbing for a lamp in someone’s home and flipping the switch.  Then presto, instead of it turning on like a normal lamp, they’ve switched things up on you.  Suddenly, the base is shining brightly instead of the bulb from beneath the shade.  Yes, it’s time to find a new friend, because friends don’t let friends buy confusing lamps.  It’s just not nice.  Sure, some might call it being creative, but you know secretly they’re just showing off how much more brilliant they are than you.

No, this is not a cleverly PhotoShopped picture with WTF added in by some random person.  It’s actually called the WTF lamp.  At least the designer realizes it’s pure madness too and has bothered to show a little humor in their own design.  The designer, John Nouanesing, hasn’t managed to make this a real product just yet, thankfully.  If there’s any hope left for mankind it will stay that way.  This world was not created to be covered with lamps that make no sense.

When you upgrade to the larger more expensive cameras, it’s never with your own comfort in mind.  It’s about the pictures really, but your comfort definitely suffers.  Be it because it tugs on your neck or it keeps bumping into your ribs or hip, it can get ugly.  It gets worse if you keep around two separate cameras for the larger events, because then you have even more added weight strung around your neck.  You also then get stuck with tangled camera straps.  Instead of dealing with that hassle, you could give this double strap a try.

Lazy Boy Cool Chair

I think the Lazy Boy Cool Chair is the gadget of all gadgets. I can’t think of anything much better than sitting back relaxing while watching your favourite Movie or TV show in this chair. It has been a while since we heard from Creative and their Zen series of MP3 Players. The Zen Krystal came out a year ago with the Zen Mozaic, and they have recently unveiled two more in the Zen line.

The Zen Mozaic EZ300 comes in 4 to 8 gigabyte models that feature a 1.8 inch TFT color display, an FM radio, a built-in speaker, a voice recorder, as well as an alarm clock. It has a mosaic keypad that is a “one-of-a-kind” design, and uses a plug and play system for dragging and dropping your songs.

The Zen MX is a credit-card shaped player with 8 to 16 gigabtye models that feature a 2.5 inch screen with 320 x 240 resolution. It also includes an SD/SDHC slot, an FM radio,a voice recorder, as well as an alarm clock.

The Zen Mozaic EZ300 is available for pre-order now. The 4GB is available for $59.99, and the 8GB version for $79.99. The Zen MX is also available for pre-order, with the 8GB for $99.99 and the 16GB for $129.99.

Perhaps this would be better time for Creative to make a move to kill Apple’s semi-Monopoly on MP3 players. I’ve said this before: Creative’s Zen Stones are cheaper and better than iPod Shuffles. There, I said it. Deal with it, Apple.
