Key Fob Video Camera/DVR

key-fob-camThis harmless looking key fob could be just the thing you’ve been on the lookout for, after discovering some lipstick marks on your man’s collar that do not belong to you because you don’t use Bobbi Brown’s Light Warm Beige semi-matte lipstick. Unfortunately, you lack the hard evidence to bring your man back to his senses, so having this Key Fob Video Camera/DVR with you could be the perfect fodder. After all, you can discreetly place this at a bedroom or living room (or where you suspect the tryst is going on), letting it record videos or snap images that are stored on its 2GB internal memory. Video quality stands at 355 x 288 resolution at 15fps, while images are 1.3 megapixels clear. You will get up to 150 minutes worth of video recording with this, and 2GB will also net you 4,000 still images. It will cost you a handsome £395 (including taxes) to bring this home though.

Sega Mega Drive Twin Player Console

sega-twin-consoleVideo gamers have this thing about retro games, and more often than not, they don’t mind going back to the good old days once in a while and indulge in a little bit of nostalgia, where pixelated graphics ruled the day and the gameplay experience coupled with an overactive imagination proved to work better than just flashy graphics. For those who missed out on Sega’s heydays as a home console manufacturer, here’s the Sega Mega Drive Twin Player Console that allows you to go through a bunch of 16-bit classics.

Simply plug it into the telly and you’re away. It might be smaller than the original but the Sega Mega Drive Twin Player Console is preloaded with 15 Sega licensed games, including Sonic and Knuckles, Alex Kidd, Golden Axe and many more. Better still you can bung in all those old Mega Drive and Genesis cartridges that have been languishing in the loft. Indeed, this nifty region-muncher doesn’t care where your games originated.

You will be able to bring home the Sega Mega Drive Twin Player Console for just £39.95 - a small price to pay for those glorious moments of yore without having to contend with the taint of downloading illegal ROMs.

Last week’s Coolest Gadget winner is…

The winner of last week’s coolest gadget competition is the Thumb Saver.

This gadget is so simple but makes so much sense and it seems to solve an age old problem that everyone has just become accustomed to. The Thumb Saver is a great invention which through a magnet holds any type of nail in place so you can hammer it in without any bruised, bloodied or broken fingers.

    Congrats again to Tech Styling.

DIY: Lego Movie Theater Features Working Projector
In second place we have the DIY: Lego Movie Theater Features Working Projector.

In what is without a doubt the coolest Lego project I have seen in a long while, builder Ricardo Oliveira has built a Lego movie theater, complete with a tiny 24 fps projector. The biggest surprise was that the thing actually worked, had I not seen the video I might have dismissed it as April Fool’s day foolishness; it is real. The level of detail in the theater is incredible, right down to row designations on the seats and cups for the patrons.

    Instant phone backup
Finally in third place comes the Instant phone backup.

How annoying is changing phones and having to get all your contacts onto your new handset? Moving all your contacts onto your phone memory or SIM, taking phones apart, swapping SIMS (if your new handset’s not locked), yadda yadda. It’s got a lot quicker with the use of software and a computer but don’t you just wish it could be instant? Well now, thanks to this little gadget, it is.
